What to expect

Pick-Up
We will pick you up at the port and then guide you to the start of the program right at the boat berth. The local organizer will be waiting for you to arrive, between 09:00 & 09:45, at the meeting point in the port of Nathon! (Meeting Point!) Due to program logistics, you must be at the meeting point on time!

Snorkeling
The speedboat departs around 09:45 and arrives at Koh Wao after an interesting 60 minute boat ride in normal sea conditions for snorkeling activity. The still intact underwater world is an absolute snorkeling paradise. Many impressive sea creatures have already been spotted here.

Koh Mae Koh
Close to the deserted island of Koh Mae Koh (mother island), we will be anchored. From here you will be transported to the picturesque bay with a small dinghy. Here you have enough time to visit the beautiful green Emerald Lagoon. You can walk and explore the beauties of the desert island on permanently installed wooden hiking trails.

Lunch
Depending on your group size, the food will serve either in a restaurant on Koh Wua Talap or Koh Phaluai. Please choose your favorite dish or ask in advance during the booking process for a picnic on the beach Enjoy the breathtaking view of the beauty of the marine park. Here you have enough time to dine in this fantastic atmosphere.

Koh Wua Talap
You will then spend the afternoon on the island of Koh Wua Talap, where the activities can be customized: you can either climb to the most breathtaking viewpoint in the Gulf of Thailand, snorkel in front of the island or simply relax on the beautiful white sandy beach.

Back to Samui
Around 3:00 p.m. we will start to return the way back to the starting point on Koh Samui. If the sea is calm, we should arrive there around 4:00 p.m. Lean back and let the impressions sink in when you see the rugged, rocky landscape and the water shimmering in different shades of blue.

Drop-Off
If the weather is good, you will reach the harbor of Nathon on your excursion boat at around 4:00 p.m. Since this is an excursion from our partner, our usual back-to-ship guarantee does not apply. Of course, our partner's top priority is always to get you back to your ship on time!

Your meeting point

You will receive a booking confirmation per email, which will also serve as your tour ticket! Please check the given information and show the email to the staff waiting for your arrival, between 09:00 & 09:45, at the meeting point of the Port of Nathon! (Meeting Point!) Due to the program logistics, you must be at the meeting point on time!

Everything was perfect, as expected

Cool activity, they picked us up at our hotel, then carried us to the docks where we could drink and eat something (including motion sickness pills, which were very useful in our outbound trip because the waves were against us and... Some people had a bad time). The activities were cool, a little bit crowded but good enough to do snorkeling and kayaking a bit. Then we ate (nothing incredible but good enough) and headed towards the las two islands to see the view points and enjoy wonderful and idyllic landscapes and beaches.

Staff people was very kind and nice, I would recommend it for sure.

A little bit too stressful

Too much time constraints. Capitaib always screaming to us, like in a rush. Literally: 10 minutes more for each step would have made it a 5 star experience

As we hoped for

Sure, it was a busy day with many activities packed in, but the concerns of the poor reviews were unfounded. The snorkeling was not crystal clear but great fun, the kayak and lunch was in beautiful locations, the boat ride through the national park was magical, and the hike up to the final viewpoint was challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

The team were calm and peaceful and accommodating, with a great sense of humour. I would definitely recommend this trip for a family of four.

Spectacular Ang Thong, but be prepared for the crossing

The Ang Thong National Marine Park is absolutely spectacular and worth visiting. The crew was excellent – very professional and friendly. The Emerald Lagoon is beautiful, and the climb up to Pha Jun Jaras viewpoint is hard but the views are unforgettable. Lunch was tasty and authentic.

On the negative side:
1. The boat ride takes more than an hour and can be very rough. In our case, there were big waves, hard bumps, plenty of splashes and even some seasickness. The boat itself was in good condition, but completely full (30–40 people). Some had to sit at the bow, which not everyone can handle.
2. The park is crowded, with bottlenecks of visitors at some spots.
3. Snorkeling had plenty of marine life, but poor visibility.

Overall, a fantastic experience if you’re ready for an adventurous ride and don’t mind the crowds.

Busy boat day!

We booked the VIP full-day speed boat tour for 2 people. Other VIP tours advertise a max of 16-26 people but we had upwards of 50 people on our tour, so it didn’t necessarily feel “VIP” off the bat. Guides were super friendly and helpful, constantly giving out drinks and water, taking photos and videos for people. Itinerary was well organized and very busy! We did end up going to the very busy areas with all the other tourists and boats for snorkeling, beaches and the (non-swimmable) lagoon. If that’s something you’re wanting to avoid, I would try to find a tour that specifically advertises private beaches and a tour away from the crazy tourist boats. It was fun but maybe not exactly what we envisioned, which isn’t really their fault. They provided a good trip for the price we paid.
