What to expect

Pick-Up
We will pick you up in an open off-road jeep between 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. at your specified accommodation, and then guide you to the first stop of the trip, in the south of Koh Samui. Step by step, all other participants are collected for this day trip until the entire travel group is completely together.

Hin Ta & Hin Yai
The first stop of today's exciting jungle safari is at Grandfather and Grandmother's Rock in the south of the island. It represents a bizarre rock formation that is reminiscent of the male and female sex. You will then find out more information or the prehistory of its origins on-site from our multilingual, trained tour guides.

Guan Yu
The Guan Yu Shrine, on the main road in the south of Koh Samui between Lamai and Hua Thanon, is a 16-meter bronze war statue that was built by a Chinese islander to celebrate Chinese heritage in 2016. It is a really impressive temple complex, with small souvenir stands and restaurants in the entrance area

Mummified monk
A special insight into Thai culture is the mummified monk Luong Pordaeng. He died in 1973 in a meditative sitting position. The body of the deceased, who has died for over 30 years, shows hardly any signs of decay and is on display in a glass display case in the temple Wat Khunaram in the south of the island.

Waterfall
The next stop is at one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Na Muang, where you can swim and relax at the waterfall. It is one of the few waterfalls on Koh Samui that has sufficient water all year round. The picturesque, tropical setting is unique and has been used for filming several times.

Lunch
From here it goes on into the mountains of Samui. With our 4x4 off-road jeep, we take you to one of the beautiful mountain restaurants with a breathtaking view of the coconut island of Koh Samui. Here you will be served a delicious, extensive lunch and water. There is guaranteed something for every taste.

Magic garden
Saturated, rested and relaxed we will drive up to 600 meters above sea level. A visit to the unique magic garden in the mountains of Koh Samui. The creative stone sculptures, figures and other objects exhibited there were hand-carved and tapped in 1976 by the 77-year-old owner.

Highest point
It goes even higher. The highest point of the island is at the well-known observation deck and temple Wat Teepangkorn at 635 meters. From here you have a breathtaking 360-degree view of the island. Among other things, you will be shown how rubber trees are cut to obtain the rubber.

Wat Plai Laem
The Wat Plai Laem is the largest Buddhist temple complex in Samui and shows Guanyin, the goddess of mercy and compassion. Here you will get an insight into Chinese-Thai beliefs as artistic Buddhist themes and architecture. The temple and the art techniques used to create it are centuries old and based on old beliefs.

Big Buddha
The 12 meters high Big Buddha was opened in 1972 and is the symbol of Koh Samui. It is located in the northeast of Samui on a small island (Koh Fan) which is connected to Samui by a bridge. From there you have a sensational view of the coast and the Bangrak pier.

Drop-Off
Around 5
:00 p.m. we will drive through the bush trail, and then guide you back to the accommodation you have deposited. Step by step, all other participants of the day trip will be dropped off until the entire tour group has completely reached their accommodations.

Funny Guide

Our first stops were 2 temples which were nice to look at, but we did that on our own without the guides. It would have been nice, if they had given us a few instructions or more explanation about the religion. At each station we had 30 minutes to observe, but I think less would have been enough. The drive up the mountain was very funny. This was the Highlight of the trip. On the way up the mountain the guide showed us an big spider and a snake from the jungle. He was very funny and made the trip so much better. On the top of the mountain was also a temple. When we arrived up there it looked not so good, i thought hopefully here happens nothing criminal. After this short fearful moment we drove to the secret garden, it was nice to look at. Then we drove to the restaurant where the food was really good. We made some pictures at the top after that. Then we drove to the coconut factory. There we heard a little bit about the coconut on the island and then we got viewed to the store with coconut thing. The we drove to the monk and after that to the mother and father stones, which was not so special because it was just stones which looked like genitals.
All in all was it nice to see the famous spots of Koh Samui in one trip, but I think in the meantime they had adjusted these places so much to the tourism. I often had the feeling that they just want us to buy something.

What an experience

We couldn’t have asked for more, covered most of the island, visiting temples then up the mountain to see the Durian plantation. It was so much fun and the lunch was truly delicious. Was given water endlessly to keep us hydrated.

Nice Trip

I really enjoyed the trip and would definitely recommend it to others.
The guide was funny and entertaining, but still educated and was able to answer all my questions.
The destinations on the trip are also worth seeing.
