Pick-Up
We will pick you up in an open off-road jeep at the port and then guide you in the north of Koh Samui. The local organizer will be waiting for you to arrive, between 09:00 & 09:20, at the meeting point in the port of Nathon! (Meeting Point!) Due to program logistics, you must be at the meeting point on time!
Viewpoint
The first stop of today's exciting jungle safari is at a sensational viewpoint. From here you have a breathtaking view over the Gulf of Thailand, overlooking the famous Angthong Marine National Park, the legendary full moon party island of Koh Phangan, and Samui's beaches. More about this will explain from the guide on side.
Mountain Temple
Wat Teepangkorn is the highest point on the paradise island of Koh Samui. At 635 meters above sea level, it offers an unforgettable 360-degree view all around the island and the Samui Archipelago. There is a small art museum and some monks are living here at this unique peaceful place far away from civilization.
Magic Garden
From here we will continue to a magic place in the middle of the mountains. A visit to the unique magic garden in the mountains of Koh Samui. The creative stone sculptures, figures and other objects exhibited there were hand-carved and tapped in 1976 by the 77-year-old owner.
Lunch
With our 4x4 off-road jeep, we take you to one of the beautiful mountain restaurants with a breathtaking view of the coconut island of Koh Samui. Here you will be served a delicious, extensive lunch and water. There is guaranteed something for every taste.
Mummified Monk
A special insight into Thai culture is the mummified monk Luong Pordaeng. He died in 1973 in a meditative sitting position. The body of the deceased, who has died for over 30 years, shows hardly any signs of decay and is on display in a glass display case in the temple Wat Khunaram in the south of the island.
Waterfall 1
Na Muang Waterfall 1 is one of the most popular waterfalls on Koh Samui. Due to its large natural swimming pool and high water level all year round, many visitors and locals come to see the natural spectacle. In contrast to many other waterfalls on Koh Samui, the access here is very easy.
Coconut
The third-largest island in Thailand is Koh Samui and 100 years ago it was the only island supplying the rest of the country with coconuts. Back then, coconuts were still picked by hand, sent to Bangkok and from there to the rest of the world. Due to the coconut export, Thailand experienced an economic boom. You can find out more about the popular coconut here.
Beach time
Now you have some time to unwind and swim in the warm water of one of Samui's lonely beaches or just relax on the beach. We recommend taking swimwear and a beach towel with you on the adventurous island safari.
Drop-Off
You reach the port of Nathon in the open off-road jeep around 16:00pm. Since this is an excursion by our partner, our usual back-to-ship guarantee is void. Of course, our partner always has top priority to bring you back to your ship on time! Don't worry!!
