What to expect
Pick-Up
We will pick you up in an air-conditioned minibus at your specified accommodation, and then guide you to the boat harbor at Thong Krut, in the south of Koh Samui. During the outward journey, no other passengers get on! Your transfer always stays private!
Boat Trip
We start the adventurous crossing to the uninhabited southern neighboring islands, from the idyllic little fishing village Thong Krut on Koh Samui. We will drive in about 30 minutes to the nearby paradisiacal island groups Koh Mudsum and Koh Tan, which are far from mass tourism.
Koh Mudsum
The first stop on our day trip is on the beautiful island of Koh Mudsum. A quaint little island, with white sandy beaches without civilization, electricity and running water. There is a small bar here and the highlight is woolen pigs like in the Bahamas, which make themselves comfortable on the beach.
Snorkeling
From Koh Mudsum, we will continue with the same boat to go snorkeling in front of the nearby island of Koh Tan. Here you can get the snorkeling equipment free of charge to explore the eventful underwater world yourself in a calm sea with a clear view. If you are lucky, you may also see very rare sea creatures.
Lunch
In the meantime, a delicious traditional lunch is freshly prepared for all participants at a small restaurant, directly on the white sandy beach, with an unforgettable view of the Gulf of Thailand. There is guaranteed to be something for every taste and you don't have to worry that it might be too spicy.
Koh Tan
After everyone is well fed and satisfied, we have time to explore the deserted island. Here you have the opportunity to walk on paved paths through one of Thailand's unique mangrove forests or relax on the beautiful beach. Interesting information about plants and animals can be found on the signposts and information boards.
Drop-Off
We will pick you up in an air-conditioned minibus from the boat harbor in Thong Krut, and then guide you back to the accommodation you have deposited. During the outward journey, no other passengers get on! Your transfer always stays private!
Your pick-up time
You will receive a booking confirmation as well as another email, including your final pick-up time, until 18:00 the day before your selected tour date! Please check the given information and show the email to the driver waiting for you at the general car park of your accommodation! If you have booked for tomorrow after 17:30, then you will receive your pick up time until 21:00!

What to bring??!
- For the boat trip we recommend bringing a simple rain jacket with you, as you could possibly get wet depending on the waves (you can get rain jackets for a very low price in every 7/11 or Tops daily).
- For a valid accident insurance we require the passport number, full name and gender of all participants within the field "Insurance" during booking! *Missing data may result in cancellation!
- On the island of Koh Madsum there is a small beach restaurant that offers food and alcoholic drinks.
- Depending on the weather and traffic conditions, the program can be adjusted.

Cancellation
You can cancel your order free of charge up to 24 hours before your selected tour date (ToS: § 3).
- For a free cancellation, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your tour date.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before your tour date, you must pay the full purchase amount.
- If you do not reach the meeting point in time, the local operator is entitled to full payment.
- Any changes made by yourself on your tour date can not be accepted free of charge.
- Cancellations due bad weather based only on responsibility by local authorities.
- Cancellations due illness require a medical certificate from a local doctor.
- Cut-off times by latest 23:59 two days before your tour date (GMT+7).

Schöner Ausflug. Super organisiert sehr netter Guide. War ein toller Tag obwohl das Wetter nicht so mitgemacht hat. Danke
Bei dem Ausflug wurden wir mehr als einmal überrascht. Abgeholt wurden wir vom Lars im Minibus, im Anschluss ging die Fahrt auf dem Longtailboot los. Diese hat wirklich sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Der erste Stopp war die Schweincheninsel. Wir waren überrascht wie liebevoll die Tiere sind und wie schön vor allem ruhig die Insel ist.
Weiter ging es zum schnorcheln. Der gewählte Halt war perfekt. Das Wasser war sehr klar, ruhig und wir konnten viele Fische sehen. Im Anschluss fuhren wir um die Insel und bekamen ein sehr leckeres Mittagessen auf dem Steg. Abseits vom Tourismus mit traumhaftem Ausblick. Danach ging es in den Mangrovenwäldern. Lars hat uns alles super erklärt und gezeigt. Es war sehr interessant und wir können es nur jedem empfehlen. Im Anschluss ging es noch zu einem Strand der Insel. Wir können nur sagen wow. Es war herrlich unverbaut und naturbelassen.
Wir haben 4 tolle Ausflüge gehabt. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön an Lars und dem gesamten Team ihr seid super. Wir freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr und die nächsten Ausflüge mit euch.
We had such a great time on the tour. We were picked up right on time, seamlessly driven to the port and met the boat and driver to take us to Koh Madsum and then Koh Tan. Our tour guide was extremely lovely, he went out of his way to make the day perfect and it was. The private lunch on the other side of Koh Tan (away from everyone else) was a highlight. The beauty of the island was exceptional and the tractor driven transportation was a surprise and made for great photos. The whole day was perfect and we could not be happier.
We booked this tour for our wedding anniversary for the second year running as last year’s was so wonderful. It was every bit as good this time, with a warm and engaging guide who looked after us so well - answering all our questions, looking up the English names of the fish and plants we came across and about Thai people and culture. After a little stop at Pig Island we stopped for a snorkel on the reef, which was just magical. Lunch at a secluded beachside restaurant was incredible, catering to all our dietary needs. After a walk through the mangroves we headed back to our longtail boat for the ride back to the dock and then back to our hotel.
10/10 would book again for our next trip, worth every baht.

Sehr gute Organisation, neue und fahrtüchtige Transportbusse, super E-Mail-Komunikation, sehr kundige einheimische Guides (Lars: spricht auch super deutsch, Wendy: spricht prima zu verstehendes Englisch), machen die Ausflüge wirklich mit Herzblut, sind sehr zugewandt und kümmern sich um alles, Ein ganz toller Job, wir waren wirklich begeistert und bedanken uns hier noch mal für Ihre Herzlichkeit ! Wir können Kohsamuiausfluege.de nur empfehlen und würden jederzeit hier wieder buchen.
Wir wurden in einem top klimatisierten Mini Van von Lars unserem Tourguide abgeholt. Wie hatten das Glück , dass nur ein Pärchen mit uns diese Tour gemacht hatte. So war es eine sehr private und entspannte Atmosphäre die Lars ( den ich hier wirklich mehr als verdient lobend hervorheben möchte ) optimal geleitet hat.
Er war zu jederzeit auf unsere wohl bedacht. Versorgte uns mit Getränken und Snacks auf dem Boot. Das Mittagsesssen in einer tollen Umgebung war mehr als köstlich, was wir so nicht erwartet hatten!
Ich möchte hier nicht Zuviel Details erwähnen, da es irgendwie sonst den Zauber für die Tourteilnehmer schmälert.
Lars und den anderen Begleitern der Tour würde ich mehr als 5 sterne geben.
Wir buchen am Ende des Urlaubes definitiv noch eine Tour mit Lars.
